A VERY DIFFICULT AND TRYING WEEKEND
I had a very difficult and trying weekend. On Saturday, I had gone to the hospital to take my mum out as the nurse called to say that she would be discharged. I had gone to the ward at around 2.00 p.m.and was told to wait as the doctor would write the discharge letter for my mum. Unfortunately, before the dear doctor could start on the letter one of the patient's stopped breathing and she had to go save her. She along with other doctors and nurses took almost 2 hours to revive the lady. By that time, it was already 4.00 p.m. and I was already very tired as I had a severe case of influenza. I told the doctor I'd go the next day to take my mum out.
On Sunday, after the discharge I had another problem. How to transfer my mum from the hospital bed to my car. The nurses said that it was rather difficult. Luckily one of the nurses suggested that I call for a private ambulance. In the above pictures, you can see the ambulance driver waiting for the lift with my mum on the stretcher and before he lifted her into the ambulance. How much did I pay? RM80.
