HANGING GARDEN OF AL AIN

 Flower Pyramid
 Pathway of love

It is from an email forwarded to me by my former student, Celestine John, that I got to know of the existence of the Al Ain Paradise Park in the United Arab Emirates.  This beautiful park which huoses 10 million flowers is also known as the Hanging Garden of Al Ain.
In December last year, the park had to be closed as a result of vandalism.  It was reported that visitors plucked the flowers and littered the park.  However, the park was reopened to the public in March this year.  Visitors are now prohibited from picking the flowers or littering.    And ... the park has been acknowledged by the Guinness World Records Limited as possessing the largest display of hanging flower baskets.
Hmm ... if only I got the chance to visit this paradise on earth.
