To the Chinese, it is a custom to eat noodles on your birthday because long noodles are believed to mean you'll live a long life. I usually wait until my Chinese lunar birthday to eat the noodles since it is a Chinese tradition. Early in the morning, I made sure I ordered a plate of noodles for breakfast.
