ROMAN CAULIFLOWER

When I was at Cameron Highlands I saw some purple cauliflowers on sale.  These taste the same as the yellowish coloured ones, the only difference is the colour.
While looking for information about purple cauliflowers I learnt about the fractal cauliflower or Roman Cauliflower. It is also known as Romanesco broccoli.  The Roman cauliflower is an edible flower of the species Brassica oleracea and a variant form of cauliflower.
The vegetable looks like a cauliflower, but is of a light green color. The broccoli's shape could be described as fractal; each bud is composed of a series of smaller buds, all arranged in yet another logarithmic spiral.
