FIVE YELLOW DIRECTION AND DEATH DOOR
This is the front of my mum's house in Ipoh. Save for the Chrysanthemums and the Kumquat tree, there is not much Chinese New Year decorations this year. This is because the facing direction of the house is Southwest which is afflicted by the Five Yellow Star and furthermore on the first day of the lunar New Year, the Death Door is located in this direction. My mum used the back door which is located in the North sector to go out of the house this morning and when both of us had to go to the temple, I held a cleaver in my right hand and opened the door with my left and then uses it to cut through the air three times to fend off the negative energies. This remedy was taught to us by Jason Eng during his annual Feng Shui talk which we attended at Excelsior Hotel.
