In the Cantonese dialect, Chinese cabbage is known as "pak choy" which is homophonic (sounds similar to) to "100 types of prosperity luck". That is one reason why you will see the pak choy made into a Feng Shui item for commercial purposes. Who wouldn't want to be blessed with a hundred types of good luck?
