SIGN OF DEATH

In Malaysia, we can easily make out when there is a death in a house. This is by the colour of the tents that are set up. The colours of the cloth decorating the tents will be blue and white. This is a new trend here. Previously the tents were not so grand looking but times are changing and the people involved in this trade have given the tents a makeover.
The tent in the above picture was set up in my neighbour's home in Ipoh. Our neighbour, Uncle Soon, died in his sleep on Friday morning. He was 78 years old. His funeral is tomorrow morning.
