HOW TO HOLD ON TO YOUR JOB IN BAD TIMES - PART 3

FENG SHUI DON'T

Avoid placing a desk under a glass window

WHY

One must be careful not to place your working desk under the window or even sit with ones back to the glass panel (as support). The main reason is that the glass panel is different from a solid wall and cannot be considered as strong support.

Similar to the door, the window also absords Chi or even sunshine to the room. If the window is opened in a good sector, it will attract the benevolent Chi and distribute it well to the whole office. Otherwise, it will bring destructive power that causes harm.

SOLUTION

The most effective way is to find a different location for your working desk. If it cannot be done, then there are four Feng Shui alternatives:

  1. If the office is bright enough, you may consider sealing the window, changing it into a concrete wall. If not, you may put a covering such as heavy curtains to create a feeling of a solid wall behind you.
  2. If the glass panel is behind you, you may consider putting a picture (preferably of a mountain) to create support.
  3. If the glass partition cannot be removed, you may consider placing a cabinet behind you and putting a stone ornament on top of the cabinet.
  4. One economical way is to get a chair with a solid high back to create the needed support.
