Recognise the lady in the photographs? It's me when I was very, very much younger. See, I was looking for something from my cupboard and instead found my old photo album. I decided to show you some pics of me a long, long time ago. Even in my youth, people kept telling me that I do not look Chinese. When I was studying in England, the people there mistook me for a South American Indian, Tibetan or Japanese. When I visited Thailand, the Thais thought I was one of them. When I was in Hong Kong and Macau, people mistook me for a Filipina, Vietnamese or Thai. Even the people in my own country mistake me for a Chindian, Malay or Taiwanese (not the Chinese type but the Aborigines). What do you think?
