51-year-old talento Yuri Adachi (the mother of Yumi Adachi) held a press conference on Wednesday to announce that her two-month cosmetic surgery plan turned out to be a success. She revealed the results of the process, which cost more than 6 million yen overall. As part of the treatment, she increased her bust while slimming her waist and hips.Taking advantage of her "regained beauty," she revealed that she will release her second nude photobook on October 10. She previously posed nude for a photobook in 2006. Adachi also mentioned that she has been given her first lead movie role in Masao Kasahara's tentatively titled "Mebius," due out in May 2009.

I am actually really stunned that there is someone who is willing to have plastic surgery so that she can look young and good enough to be photographed nude for a photobook. I have said time and time again that though some of the plots in the television dramas or movies might look a bit far-fetched and fantastic but then there are things in real-life that are even more incredible. I wonder how many copies of the lady's 2006 photobook sold and how many more copies of the new book will be sold. Maybe, people will buy it out of curiosity. Personally, I wonder why people would be willing to buy the book to see someone who has been reconstructed by some cosmetic surgeon. If the lady is 51 years old and looks youthful and beautiful without having had anything done to her face and body, then that would be worth looking at. Anyway, such a lady might most probably not do such a thing.
