ANOTHER MONEY PLANT

I did a post on the money plant Pachira a few days ago. Now here is another plant that is also considered as a money plant by the Chinese. It is commonly known as jade plant or friendship tree (botanic name Crassula ovata, Crassula portulacea).
Here is more info about the plant:
The Jade plant is a succulent plant that sometimes has small pink or white flowers.
There is a common misconception that the Jade Plant is also known as the "money tree". This is false, however, as the Pachira Aquatica plant is the original "money tree".The jade plant, Crassula ovata, also known as Chinese rubber tree or money plant, makes an excellent houseplant. It loves living in a sunny spot and grows best when ignored for long periods of time. Many people who practice Feng Shui say that having one of these plants in your home, with their small round leaves like coins, helps to bring money into your life. The jade plant originates from South Africa and Madagascar, but will live quite happily as a houseplant in cooler climates.
