Do you know that the Chinese have a God of Happiness and Good Luck (the statue of this deity is on the left in blue robes). He is known as Fu-hsing which means Lucky Star which symbolises destiny, fate, love, happiness, and success. Fu-hsing is one of the three deities or san-hsing which includes Sou-hsing (God of longevity) and Lu-hsing (God of Career). This particular deity has a very optimistic outlook on life and he very often answers the prayers for those who pray to him. The bat is often associated with Fu-hsing bat as this nocturnal creature has the same sound as happiness or good luck in Chinese.
