Last Sunday, the whole nation was rooting for Dato Lee Chong Wei to win the first Olympic gold for Malaysia. You can see my Aunt Linda up on her feet giving her full support for him. Alas, luck was not on Chong Wei's side and he had to concede defeat to China's Lin Dan. Though our Dato has to be contented with only a silver, our admiration and respect for him has multiplied. We applaud him for his fighting spirit and for his ability to match Lin Dan shot after shot. In actuality, the match could have gone either way.
Syabas, Chong Wei, you have made Malaysians proud.
