HOME REMEDY FOR PIMPLES

Though my beautician has helped me to remove the pus from my Big Pimple, the blemish is still the same size.  My beautician told me that it'd take a day or two for the swelling to go down in size.  Things would return to normal after that. In the meantime, I am not to irritate or touch the spot.
As long as I am on the topic of pimples, I'd like to share a home remedy for this bothersome skin affliction.  Actually, we all have this remedy at home.  It is none other than toothpaste.  I tried it quite a number of times and it does work.
TOOTHPASTE FOR PIMPLES
Using Toothpaste on pimples is one of the most common home remedies. This method is so popular for one reason – it really does work!
Just one application of toothpaste to a pimple, left on overnight, may get rid of the blemish or at least it should appear greatly reduced. The ingredients in the toothpaste dehydrate the spot, removing the dirt and oils; it basically works in a similar way to a clay face mask.
As with all natural pimple treatments, care should be taken not to irritate the skin or cause further damage.
What Sort of Toothpaste on Which Sort of Pimple?
Only use toothpaste on pimples you have not popped; the outer layer of skin should still be intact. Make sure you don’t use too much paste – only a very small amount should be applied directly to the blemish itself (not the surrounding skin). Always use the paste form, not gel as the gel is more likely to burn your skin.

Any toothpaste will do; don’t worry about the brand. The best time to use this pimple treatment is immediately before going to bed. Wash your entire face with your normal cleansing product and pat it dry.
How to apply? Rub the paste into the spot very gently with a clean fingertip, until you can no longer see it. When you wake up in the morning, gently wipe the spot with a clean, damp face cloth. Wash and moisturize your face as normal.
As the ingredients in toothpaste dry out the skin, it is not recommended to use this method more than one night at a time. If you have very sensitive skin or suffer from more serious acne, try a tiny application of regulartoothpaste on one pimple on an inconspicuous part of your face, such as underneath your chin and leave it on for only five minutes.Stay away from whitening or fluoride products, which are more likely to aggravate your skin. If you do not suffer from any adverse reaction, try it on another blemish for slightly longer. As with any pimple treatment, stop usingtoothpaste on pimples immediately if you experience any pain, discomfort or other unpleasant side effects.
It is normal to experience a slight stinging sensation when you first apply the paste to your skin, which some people describe as a burn, but this should not be painful in any way.
Many people find that using toothpaste on pimples is very effective in reducing the size and redness of their blemishes, with the bonus being that it is really cheap way to deal with them!
Everyone already has a tube of toothpaste in their home, so you do not even need to spend any extra money. This method of treating spots may not work for everyone, and it largely depends on the severity of the acne and the individual’s skin type. It is, however, worth a try, and if it works for you, you can say goodbye to expensive acne treatment products. If toothpaste on pimples doesn’t work for you, there are plenty of other home remedies for pimplesyou can try.
