The class monitor receiving the consolation hamper from the senior assistant.
My Civics class took part in a Malaysia Day Competition to decorate their class during the month of August. The results were only announced last Friday as there were lots of events happening in between. They received a consolation prize which was in the form of a hamper which contained snacks, nuts and biscuits. This afternoon, the boys and girls enjoyed the fruits of their labour during the Civics lesson. As the food in the hamper was not enough for 33 boys and girls, I went and bought cakes and ordered drinks from the canteen for them. Initially I had planned on them having the food outside the library but seeing that it was mid-day and it was very hot outside, I decided to let them eat indoors with the provision that they help to clean up the place.
Afterwards to commemorate the occasion, we had a class photograph outside the library. I am sharing the pictures of this happy occasion with you.
