VEGETARIAN FOOD

















Unlike most children who do not like to eat their veggies, I love mine. According to my mum, I'd refuse all types of meat that she fed me when I was learning to eat solid food.  If there were no veggies, I'd prefer to eat plain rice with water and some soy sauce.
Many years later, I still do not eat meat.  I do however eat eggs and seafood.  At least twice a week, I'd go to a Chinese vegetarian restaurant to buy my meal.
I was at the Meng Kee Vegetarian Restaurant in Ipoh Garden yesterday.  I had gone there rather early and all the dishes were just newly cooked.  Besides vegetables, cereals, grains, fruit, legumes and nuts, there are also the mock meat dishes made from soy flour.
Yummy! Yummy!
