VERY CHEAP CUCUMBERS : RM1 FOR 1 KILO

Nowadays, cucumbers are sold at a cheap price.  For RM1 I managed to buy 1 kilo of cucumbers.  In my case, the three cucumbers I bought weighed 1 kilo.
I guess the reason for the cheap price could be because of the news about cucumbers in Germany having the deadly E-coli virus  which resulted in the death of a 10 people and spread across Europe.
I believe that the cucumbers here in Malaysia are perfectly safe and so we should go ahead and eat them.  Most of the cucumbers sold are planted in Malaysia.  Furthermore, thanks to the cucumber scare in Europe, people become cautious.  Hence, the cheap price. Heh! Heh! Heh!
