BLUE GINGER BATH (南薑)

I bought this big piece of lengkuas from the market this morning.  In Chinese, it is known as Blue Ginger (南薑).  In culinary books, lengkuas is known as Galangal.  The part you see me holding is the rhizome.  Lengkuas is used as an ingredient for cooking and it also has medicinal properties as well.
I found out that in traditional Malay medicine, there is a special bath using the lengkuas for men.  Taking this bath is supposed to ... Ahem ... clean and strengthen the 'secret weapon' of males.  I hope you understood what I was referring to.
