SELINA REN, S.H.E.R.O

I have been following the progress of Taiwanese entertainer, Selina Ren Jia Xuan (任家萱) after she was involved in a terrible accident which left her with a lot of burns in many parts of her body.  Like many others, I had also prayed and wished that this young lady would recover quickly. 
I must admit that all this while I was not really a fan of hers but just knew her as part of the group S.H.E.  Ella was the one that I really admired for her bubbly nature, her love for animals, her charity work and for her personality.  It was only after her accident that I took notice of this brave girl who through her time of adversity has shown that she is indeed a lovely person inside out.  I was deeply touched to read that she commented that luckily it was her who was involved in the accident instead of the stuntwoman as the person might not have the financial means for treatment.  I am sure that not many people in such a situation would have even thought of this.  Then there were reports of her consoling people close to her instead of them giving her words of encouragement.  Selina is indeed fortunate to have very supportive parents and family members to be by her side throughout her ordeal.  I am sure that people who read about her would also admire and respect her fiance, Richard, who had stood by her and never wavered in his love for her; all the while reassuring her that his love for her was as strong as ever and that come what may they would be wed in April this year.  Wow!  This is truly romantic and very touching plus it is not something out of a script for a love story.  Like Ella Chen, I now consider Selina as my S.H.E.R.O., someone I look up to and hold as an example for her character and deeds.
Long though the road for her recovery maybe, but I am certain that she will make it through with so many people rooting for her.  I know I will be.
