WHAT IS IN STORE FOR THE RABBIT YEAR BY LILLIAN TOO

This Feng Shui article on the on the annual forecast for the rabbit year by Feng Shui Grand Master Liliian Too was published in the Sun newspaper on Wednesday.  It makes for an interesting read.  Click this link to read the article.

Below is another article by Lillian Too about what the rabbit year brings for the individual Zodiac signs.

What the Rabbit year brings

How the various zodiac animal signs fare in the year ahead

WHILE the general outlook for the Year of the Rabbit appears somewhat discouraging, there are some uplifting news for eight of the 12 zodiac animal signs, says feng shui consultant LillianToo. “Thankfully, the stars of the 24 Mountains coupled with good annual Flying Stars provide excellent relief for many of the animal signs, especially for the Ox, Snake and Horse.”

So, here are the highlights of what Too sees for each of the animal signs in the Year of the Rabbit:

RABBIT

(1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999)
The Rabbit has a tough year ahead. The Five Yellow brings misfortune, so this is a year to lie low and make sure that all the cures in your home are put in place. Wear plenty of protective charms – and if possible, wear the five-element pagoda pendant at all times. Burn lots of incense to appease the local landlords – this will go a long way in improving your luck.

DRAGON
(1940,1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000)
The Dragon will enjoy a good year ahead, with plenty of little achievements that add up to a pretty good year. Heaven luck is also on the Dragon’s side, so help will manifest when help is needed. But being so close to the FiveYellow means misfortune can set in anytime. Best to subdue the FiveYellow and carry the five- element pagoda charm at all times.

SNAKE
(1941,1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001)
The Snake is in for a very heavenly year. Money and success are indicated by the two Small Auspicious Stars and one Big Auspicious Star, and what’s more, the Divine Flying Star flies into the Snake’s palace. All this adds up to a really fortuitous year for the Snake, punctuated with both small and large achievements. Capture it with Heaven Luck activators.

HORSE
(1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002)
The Horse can look forward to big money. Flanked by two Big Auspicious Stars, prosperity is literally at the Horse’s doorstep. However, all this money-making will take its toll in terms of health –as the energy of the Horse is sapped by both the Illness Flying Star and the Star of Reducing Energy. My advice is to place plenty of feng shui health cures.

GOAT
(1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003)
The Goat will enter a domestic year. Money won’t be a problem as the Big Auspicious Star and the Earth Seal protect against loss. Marriage, romance and homemaking are on the cards in the Sheep’s life this year. Excellent year for the Goat to get married or have babies!

MONKEY
(1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004)
The Monkey had a difficult Tiger Year, but this year, will be slightly better. Love and romance is indicated for the Monkey, so this is a good year to tie the knot. Small robbery is indicated, so the Monkey should wear protective charms to disarm this star.

ROOSTER
(1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005)
The Rooster faces a challenging year ahead. The Star of Natural Disaster strikes at the heart of the Rooster and being flanked by theThree Killings makes matters worse. Roosters should lie low and use protective charms to improve their luck.

DOG
(1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006)
The Dog will have an average year. Money is indicated – but it comes with conflict and obstacles. Activate the Northwest direction with the Crystal 8 and use the strong metal sounds generated by singing bowls and bells to clear your living space regularly.Offering incense to local landlords will also help tremendously.

PIG
(1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007)
The Pig has a great year! Flanked by the Big and Small Auspicious Stars, the Pig also enjoys the Prosperity Flying Star. So this is definitely a money-making year for the Pig. Make the most of it by activating the Northwest direction appropriately and supporting all your friends and allies.

RAT
(1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008)
The Rat enjoys an excellent year of auspiciousness, flanked by two Big Auspicious Stars, bringing prosperity and gold! But the Quarrelsome Star makes an appearance, bringing stress and obstacles to the Rat. This can be overcome by inviting the Dragon– the ally of the Rat – into your home.

OX
(1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009)
The Ox is in for a spectacular year and is the luckiest animal sign in 2011! The Ox enjoys the divine patronage of the Golden Deity, who brings cosmic blessings and protection to those she favours. The Ox is also flanked by two Big Auspicious Stars and visited by the Wealth No.1 Flying Star, so this is definitely the year for the Ox to pursue his or her financial dreams with confidence and in earnest!

TIGER
(1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010)
The Tiger will have a pretty good year, too! The Big Auspicious Star and the Heaven Seal bring prosperity and authority from Heaven, indicating possible promotion or change of status. But the Five Yellow can cause
misfortune, so be sure to subdue it with the five-element pagoda.
