PURPLE CARROTS

So far I have only drunk purple carrot juice but have yet to really see a purple carrot.  I did a search on the Web and realised that there are different shades of purples for carrots.  Also some purple carrots have orangey coloured cores while others have a lighter shade of purple cores.  Very pretty!

By the way carrots were originally purple.  Orange carrots came abouy from natural mutations of yellow forms, and then by human selection and development.
