I saw these Kuih Bakar at a hawker stall in Tanjong Karang. Kuih Bakar is a traditional Malay kuih. Kuih means cake in the Malay language and Bakar means to bake or burnt. So Kuih Bakar is best translated as Baked Cake.
Know something, I have never eaten Kuih Bakar before. It doesn't appeal to me.
