MASTERPIECES ON CAVE WALLS

What you see below are some of the magnificent paintings on the walls of the Perak Cave Temple.  The paintings were done by various artists over a very long period of time.

Here is some more information about Perak Cave or Perak Tung.
  1. The temple was first developed by Mr Chong Sen Yee in 1926.
  2. The temple sits at the foot of a 135m-high limestone outcrop on a five hectare plot of land in front of Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman.
  3. The fascinating formations of stalactites and stalagmites in floral shapes and figures resembling dragons, phoenix and other creatures in the cave, are amazing sights.
  4. The paintings and calligraphy on its walls were materpieces by famous artists from all over the world.
  5. The temple opens daily from 8am to 5pm.
