HANDICRAFT BAGS & BASKETS

Check out the bags and baskets woven from strips of plastic.  They are all the rage among the Aunties in Ipoh.  I bought one of the bags a few weeks ago and found it to be very practical.  Today I bought another from the same Malay lady who sells these handicraft bags at the market. The bags are priced from RM15.00 to RM45.00.  I think the baskets are around RM30 each.
She can be found at the Kampung Simee market on Friday mornings and the Pasar Tani near the Ipoh Stadium on Saturday.
