I read from the English version of the Feng Shui and Astrology tabloid Volume 3 about how a good name enhances ones luck and would like to share some of the information with you here.

It is of utmost importance to give a good name to ones child as a name resembles a person's registered trademark. Different names will give a different impression on others. When ayou first meet someone and if he or she says their names loudly and with confidence, then we can know tht the person in question likes his name, or he feels proud of it. A name can give a person confidence.
On the other hand, if someone says his or her name softly or timidly, or after mentioning his or her name, the person feels shy or have no feeling of confidence, then we can deduce the name of that particular person has created an inferiority complex for him or her.
This is one of the reasons why some parents are hesitant in naming their children immediately after birth. They would be slow to decide on a name for their child for fear that the name given to the babies might bring bad luck to them.
When a baby is newly born, it is very important to give the child a good name to a child and the name should sound good as well.
According to the article I read, the name of a person carries about 60 % of weight in our life process. Other elements influencing our lives would be parental influence which account for 20%. 10% comes from individual effort and the other 10% is due to environmental influence.
