When I reached home last evening, my next door neighbour informed me that there was a pigeon stranded on top of my grill. As her family is of the Hindu faith, it seems that if pigeons come to stay in the porch or garden, then it is not good for the occupants. It is believed that the occupants will fall sick easily.
Well, my neighbour and I worked together to get the bird down from where it was perched. It jumped from my grill to hers and then back again. Finally we managed to nudge it using the soft part of a broom into a basket. It then walked out from her compound.
