When I went to pray at the temple last week, I brought along three lotus candles to light; one for me and two for my nephews, Jeremy and Ben. Mine, I asked for blessings of good health. I lit the candles for the boys in the hope that they be blessed with very good career luck in the coming year.
Even though my nephews are Christians, I still pray for them when I go to the temple.
