I visited a souvenir shop in Lumut last week and saw lots of souvenirs made from shells. In Feng Shui, conch, shells, cowries or seashells are popular and have special meanings. They are symbolic of a comfortable home and a feeling of contentment. Shells also represent protection, like a shield. Shells are believed to enhance travel luck as well as strengthen long distance relationships.
Beside improving relationship luck, shells are useful for attracting overseas business. They are also considered as an excellent symbol for people who wish to have harmonious relationship with the famous and the rich.
Shells represent the earth element and are best placed in the south, south-west, west, north-east and north-west of your house.
