PALLET

While waiting in line for my car to be washed, I saw this wooden pallet and thought that its fate would be the same as the one next to it; left there to be subjected to the elements until it turned greyish.  Or some lemang seller would use the wood to fuel the fire pit.

For your information, a pallet is a flat transport structure that supports goods in a stable fashion while being lifted by a forklift, pallet jack, front loader, work saver or other jacking device. A pallet is the structural foundation of a unit load which allows handling and storage efficiencies. Goods or shipping containers are often placed on a pallet secured with strapping, stretch wrap or shrink wrap and shipped.  LINK

Actually with some creativity and effort, one can come up with some wonderful items for used pallets.
