PADDING BREAKABLE PLATES WITH FOAM ONES

When I buy breakable plates from the department stores or shops, the sales person at the checkout counter would help to wrap each of them in newspaper to prevent breakage.

I recently saw this idea of using foam plates to pack this fragile crockery.  Sure beats using the newspaper.  On the downside, one has to spend money to buy the foam plates.
