MAMAK MEE FOR DEEPAVALI DO

For every exhibition that is held in the college library, I will have some activities to complement them.  For the Haji Travelogue exhibition, I had quizzes, slide shows and also 'jamuans'.  The latest exhibition on Deepavali is the last for 2013 and as a closure for it, I planned a Deepavali Do for the librarians, the Indian lecturers and staff.
To save cost, we decided to do our own cooking.  Luckily Baz agreed to cook the Mee Goreng Mamak as the main dish.
Baz had prepared all the ingredients at home and fried the noodles at the Herb Garden.

Since she had to fry a big wok of noodles, Megat had to help hold one of the handles to stabilize it.
It was a big wok and it took quick a lot of energy to fry all the noodles.
In less than half and hour the fried noodles were ready.  Just in time for recess time, when the librarians came in to do their duty.
