Peacock feathers are considered auspicious by both the Chinese and Indians It is believed that peacock feather can ward off bad spirit and it is good for travellers. What I do is keep 6 peacock feathers in my car for safety and good luck when travelling. These feathers are excellent amulets to protect one against accidents, illness, burglaries, misfortunes and to ward off disease.
As the ones I have in my car had been there for more than 2 years and were looking much worn, I decided to go to Little India in Ipoh to buy some new ones. A couple of my friends also asked me to help buy these feathers for them too after they saw them in my car.
