In departmental stores and some government buildings, there will be special toilets for the disabled but then there are rarely facilities for the elderly like the support bar shown in the pictures below.
For your information, I have such bars installed in the toilets in my house as one day I may need to use them when I am old, feeble and in need of support to get up from the toilet bowl.
The toilet in the first picture is at the Kek Lok Tong Temple while the second toilet is at a Chinese restaurant. Most certainly there are many elderly visitors to the temple and the bars come in handy. And most probably that particular restaurant also have quite a number of elderly patrons.
