PORTABLE GAS STOVE

I had wanted to buy an Ikan Brand portable gas stove and went to a store to buy it.  Unfortunately the lady at the shop said that it was out of stock and phoned to see if she could order it for me.  The person she called said that they had been having quite a number of orders for this stove because of the coming Hari Raya celebrations.  Perhaps, people are buying them out as they want to have cook outs in the open air with their family.  Anyway, the proprietress said she'd lend me hers while I wait for my order to arrive.  Only thing was that I needed to buy the gas.
As I am someone who is very poor at installing mechanical things, I brought the stove to work and got Hasnin to help me put in the gas and teach me how to use it.  He told me that unlike normal portable stoves, the one I ordered can also be plugged into a gas cylinder.  By the way, it also comes with a one year warranty.
Now you must be wondering why I want to buy a stove when I have an induction cooker at home, right?  Well, my purpose for doing so is so that I when I am deep frying, I can do it in the garden or at the back of the house.  In this way I don't need to spend hours to get rid of the odour from the cooking and also save time cleaning the kitchen.

Li Na,

Why dont you get a deep fat fryer instead. Then the oil will stay intact and also the food fried will not be so oily.

The thing is I don't do much cooking. Furthermore, I can carry the portable stove with me if I go on a picnic or to the beach. I am afraid the deep fat fryer won't be of use in the great outdoors. Thanks for the suggestion though.
