Feng Shui Lucky Water Stars – How to Find and Activate for Wealth

To activate your home for wealth in feng shui, it’s important you know where the feng shui water stars are located. This article tells you not only how to find them in your home — but how to activate them for wealth.
Water is wealth, as the Chinese say. There’s no doubt that when there is abundance, water is also abundant. From the earliest times, water meant that no one died of thirst, crops and animals flourished and life became easier. Water also meant power to turn mill stones and generate energy.
When it comes to water, though, few homes have the presence of water. Many homes have an abundance of metal, wood and earth but lack the watery influence of fountains, ponds, pools or waterfalls that bring prosperity. The homes that do have water often have greater prosperity and the calm, relaxed feel of abundant wealth.
This energy can be stimulated in your home by activating the water stars based on your home’s facing direction. The table below will help you find exactly where your water stars are located. But let’s talk about the five water stars and important details ont how to activate them.
There are 5 beneficial water stars.
In Flying Star feng shui, each sector has a mountain star and a water star. These two stars affect the quality of the energy of that sector. While most people are aware of the Water Star 8, there are four other beneficial water stars that can be activated. This is especially helpful when your Water Star 8 isn’t in the best location, which is covered in a moment. The other stars in order of importance are 1, 4, 9 and 6. The 1 star represents business success, the 4 star represents relationships, 9 is the star of future prosperity and 6 is the wealth of networking and windfalls.
One of the key details of the water stars is the location of the star.
When the water stars are at the front of the house, the money side, they offer more benefits and are considered to be more auspicious. So you might want to pay particular interest to the water stars that fall at the front of the house. Even though your Water Star 8, the critical water star, may fall at the rear of the house, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t activate it with water, it’s just not going to be as potent as if it were in the front of the house. Look at where all the water stars fall at your home and determine which corner is the most suitable and auspicious one to activate.
Water stars need to be activated.
All water is not created equal. There are many qualities of water. One couple had an extremely filthy fish tank. Their poor, suffering fish had to swim in murk so thick they couldn’t be seen unless they were right up against the glass. The couple fought, got into severe financial problems and eventually began cheating on each other, declaring bankruptcy and then divorcing. Dirty water activates the wrong way. Clean, moving water activates the right way.
Clean, sparkling running water that has lights, fish or is circulated through a sprayer or waterfall mechanism is activated water that brings benefits such as windfalls, steady increases in business and earnings, accumulated savings and the relaxation that only comes when your financial needs are being met.
Water Star 8
When it comes to the most important water star, it’s the number 8 that reigns supreme. Without a doubt, it’s vital to have a water feature wherever your Water Star 8 is located. A fountain, pool, pond or waterfall is a great way to activate the wealth potential of the Water Star 8 – or any of the water stars. But what happens if your Water Star 8 falls in an odd spot, say near the garage or side of the house? A water feature here would seem odd. In that case, it might make more sense to activate the Water Star 1.
To activate your Water Star 8 consider adding a six tier fountain. This is especially helpful for houses that are North 1, South 2/3, East1, and West 2/3, as you have the Double 8 at the front of your home. However, 6 tier fountains are wonderful anywhere they’re placed. The key to activating the Double 8 stars is to employ both stone and water in your water feature. (see photo above)
Water Star 1
This round fountain is a wonderful way to activate the Water Star 1 or 4.
In terms of importance, the 1 Water Star is another very important water star, and it’s one of my personal favorites because the 1 star is a like a sparkling fountain generating business and income luck. Activate it with a six tiered waterfall or a circular water fountain to mimic the metal shape that produces water.
Water Star 4
This water star relates to success in speaking, writing, education, sales and love relationships. Activate this with goldfish, a waterfall or pond. Adding lighting to your fountain or pond is also a good idea that enhances the 4 star.
Water Star 9
The water star 9 is the star of future prosperity. That’s because the period of 8 that we are currently in will change in 2024, so building a fountain where the water star 9 is located will help you to amass wealth for the future. A terrific way to activate this star is with a three level water fall. The three level is most auspicious as it refers to wood energy that feeds the 9 star. Lighting is another good way to activate any fountain, but particularly a Water Star 9 fountain. (See fountain below left)

A few notes on fountains
It’s important to note that all fountains are not beneficial for feng shui. In particular, disappearing fountains are among the worst. These symbolize “disappearing money” instead of “accumulating money.” For that reason, always have a fountain that shows both a generating area (spray head, water flow) and an accumulation area (pond, pool). These represent generating and accumulating wealth.
Another critical feature of fountains is that they should not appear to be flowing away. It should appear that the water is staying there or flowing toward the house. What if you’re an apartment dweller…are fountains out of the question for you? No. Simply place a fountain in your living room in the Water Star 8 or 1 location to activate your apartment for wealth.
