On the first day I set foot on Korean soil, it rained and rained continuously. The guide had brought my fellow travellers and I to a shopping area and we quickly bought umbrellas at the roadside stalls. When we entered a departmental store with our wet umbrellas, there was an attendant at the front directing customers to the automatic wet umbrella bag dispenser. It is easy to use, just insert the umbrella into either one of the slots and it gets wrapped with a plastic bag. The slot on the left is for the foldable umbrellas while the one on the right is for the longer ones.
