Here is how my index finger looks like eight hours after the indelible ink was applied to it. I must admit that I scrubbed with a sponge and soap many times to get the ink off as a bit of it had stained my Hush Puppy T-shirt. If you know how much one such T-shirt costs, you would understand the trouble I went through to remove the ink. However, there were still visible traces after all my hard work.
This selca was taken after I left the polling station. You can see the dark blue ink on my index finger. When I accidentally brushed my T-shirt with my stained finger, a bit of the ink rubbed off on it. Thankfully, I managed to wash off the ink when I reached home.
