Before Keefe and his gang came over to Malaysia, I had promised him that they would get to eat a very special nasi lemak when they were in Manjung. However that promise could not be kept the day they arrived as it was in the afternoon and Kamariah was busy that day.
Nevertheless I managed to ask for her help to cook the nasi lemak on their last day in Lumut. The both of us sent the boxes of nasi lemak to them at the Lumut Bus Terminal before their departure to Singapore. Mind you we used Omega eggs and Japanese cucumbers as the ingredients. Even the ikan bilis (anchovies) were of the expensive type. But most importantly it was the skills of the cook that made the nasi lemak special. My brother-in-law who saw the photo of them enjoying the Malaysian treat commented that they were lucky blokes to get such VIP treatment.
