For some time already, I have been trying to find the scientific name of this plant. In Chinese it is known as Nan Fei Shu or South Africa Plant. It grows easily and is said to have lots of health benefits. The plant featured above were actually growing outside a shop.
The Chinese believe that the leaves of this plant are very good for lowering blood glucose levels and hypertension. This herb also helps lower bad cholesterol, uric acid, eliminates tingling in the hands and feet and functions as natural chemotherapy.
So anyone out there has any idea as to what its scientific name is?
