I was drawn to a plant called Rama-rama (Bauhinia purpurea) at the Perak Herb Garden. It is obvious why it was called Rama-rama or butterfly plant as its leaves resemble that of this beautiful insect.
It is used to treat scabies. One needs to pound the leaves to a paste and apply onto the affected area.
