When I was at the Buddhist Temple in Sitiawan yesterday to pray for Sue Lyn, I discovered that I was not alone. There were a number of devotees offering prayers, flowers and incense to Lord Buddha as it was the fifteenth day of the lunar month. Some Buddhists and Taoists make it a point to go to the temples to pray on the first and fifteenth day of the lunar month as these days are considered good for prayers.
