OODLES OF POSITIVE QI FROM HUGGING THE GAHARU TREE

This Gaharu tree at the Gaharu Tea Valley in Gopeng is 19 years old and 50 feet tall.  In ancient times, Gaharu or Agarwood was much sought after plant by emperors, royal families, noblemen and the rich for its medicinal, fragrant and spiritual purposes.
People in the middle east believe that hugging a Gaharu Tree is might auspicious as it gives off lots of good Qi and takes away the bad ones.  That is why visitors to the place are taken up to the place where the tree goes to give the tree a good hug.

As you can see, the tree is not that leafy but it is indeed very tall.
View of the tree taken from the base.
Me giving the tree a good hug.
I saw people joining together when hugging the tree.  So I got this lady to do it with me.  Perhaps, it is a form of completion.

Refusing to let go of the tree trunk as I have lots of wishes to make while hugging it.
I was told that giving the tree a kiss would also be good and so I did it as well.

The van driver had told the visitors not to write on the tree but then his words fell on deaf ears.
People were busy writing their car numbers or lucky numbers on the trunk.  Their idea was to give their lucky numbers a boost but their action was harming nature.  Sad, isn't it?
