DOING CHARITY IN MY MUM'S NAME

For the duration of the 49 days after my mum's demise, I was told that my family and I could do charity and perform good deeds and transfer them to my mum.  As I am busy with work, I can only think of donating to the poor and needy.  Last Saturday when my aunt and I were at the Farmer's Market, we donated to the orphans by putting money into the boxes placed on the road along the stalls.
