My colleagues and I bade farewell to our clerk, Umi, who has gotten a transfer to the Teacher Activity Centre near her home. Though she will be close to her mum, Umi leaves us with much sadness as she has been working at the college for about 5 years.
Yesterday was her last day working at the college. A few of us were there when she clocked out from work for the last time. Since Kamariah and I had been very busy with work, we only managed to give Umi a farewell dinner at Pizza Hut after work. We also invited her housemate, Ainon for the meal.
Umi has been a very helpful and obliging colleague and I bade farewell to her with a heavy heart. Hopefully, we can keep in touch as she is such a nice lady.
