At one time, I bought a few of these figurines when I was writing a book about Red Occasions for the Chinese. Somewhere in December, I seemed to be getting somewhere with the publisher as they requested me to check a draft they sent. BUT when I wrote to them a month ago, I did not get any reply at all. Aiyoh! I don't think my book will ever see the light of day. Sad, isn't it?
