DOING ALL THAT I HUMANLY CAN

As we enter the last month of the Rabbit year, my mother's condition has taken a turn for the worse.  She was okay for the past couple of months but now she is acting strange again.  She keeps saying weird things. My sifu said that it is because her life force is very low at the moment.  Her Chinese age is 79 (which is a dangerous age for the Chinese) and her zodiac is in direct clash with the Rabbit. The Chinese believe that the old and the weak are greatly affected each time a major festival is around the corner.   If they manage to live past the festival, then they will be okay.
In the meantime, I am trying out all sorts of Feng Shui remedies to see if they could work.  My friend, Haji Hasnin keeps telling me that my mum is old enough and that I should leave it in the hands of God to decide her fate. He also tells me not to get overly upset, worried or angry as it might damage my health.
Still I am going to try.  I paid the gardening service people who came to cut the grass in my mum's house to clear away the Cactus patch facing my house.  As it was prickly business, the man had initially asked for RM360 but after a lot of bargaining, he settled for RM200 plus another RM30 to hire a lorry to transport away the cactus and dead bougainvillea plant.  On the advice of Danny of the WOFs boutique in Ipoh, I am also going to release 9 birds at the temple for my mum on Monday.  In the meantime, my mum has lit a 9 day Wah Toh (God of Medicine) Lamp for her good health.  Tomorrow, I will bring her to my sifu for a blessing ceremony.
Though Hasnin and my sifu have advised me to let things take their natural path, I am not going to sit still and not do anything.  But at the same time, I am prepared for the worst.
