This is one dish that I enjoy eating very much. The drawback is I look pretty unladylike while eating the siput
sedut or balitong. The scientific name for this sea snail is Cerithidea obtusa. It is known as the Obtuse Horn Shell and also as "Mud Creeper" The dish which is called Siput Sedut Masak Lemak entails one to suck the flesh from the shell. Yeah! Besides looking unladylike, the one who eats this dish makes funny sounds as well.
