HARI RAYA VISIT TO HAJI HASNIN'S HOUSE

I went with Lai Yoong, Sue Lyn and Alven to pay our dear friend, Haji Hasnin a Hari Raya visit.  We had called on the first day to inform him of our intended visit and he had prepared one of his special dishes to serve us.
The Haji had been asking me about how Lai Yoong and Sue Lyn were coping with the sudden loss of Mr Wong as he was concerned.  He too lost his brother-in-law (his wife's younger brother) last Thursday.  The man died slightly more than a week after he was diagnosed with third stage lung cancer.
