HARI RAYA AIDIL FITRI CELEBRATION FOR SCHOOL LIBRARY

Yesterday was a "Lau Juat" Day at the school library.  In Hokkien, "Lau Juat" means celebration.  The Chinese consider Lau Juat occasions to be ultra auspicious and happy ones.  The Qi and Energy generated would most certainly be positive and good.
This was the annual "Hari Raya Aidil Fitri" Celebration for the library.  This year, the resource centre teachers and staff contributed food and drinks for the feast.  I collected RM1 each from the students to buy the snacks and lemang.  Altogether there are 40 librarians and 18 resource centre teachers.  I also invited Sharveen along.  He was the former Head Librarian of our school.
I am sharing with you pictures taken during our "Jamuan Hari Raya Aidil Fitri" or Eid Al Fitri Feast.  It was held from 10.00 a.m. until 2.30 p.m. to accomodate everyone.  The teachers and students came during their recess time and free time.  We also invited those teachers and staff who came to the library at that time.
