This is how the jelly mooncake I made turned out. I am embarrassed to admit that it is a total failure. I had the notion that I'd be able to save a lot of money by making my own jelly mooncakes.
I finally have to use the ones that I bought from the market as offerings to Kuan Yin. When Lai Yoong saw my handiwork, she said that it would be better to buy than make the mooncakes as they are professionally done. Mine looks so plain.
